How: While talking about specific goals and activities for the day, you can also link that to future classes. Another important aspect about roadmapping is connecting classes to previous discussions or classes that you have had. Making past and future links with the class are helpful. 

 

Why: This can be helpful to provide context for what students are working on each class, so they can see it as a part of the larger trajectory of the course.
